Guide to Bancor Limit Orders
Aiming to become a universal trading and farming platform on the market and backed by KeeperDAO and 0x Protocol, Bancor has started supporting limit orders. The functionality is now available on bancor.network and works for any pair of tokens. Another great news is that you don’t need to pay gas fees if you’re the one who makes an order as it will be paid by the person who fulfills it.
Better Than Gold: Will Bitcoin Replace Precious Metals?
Ever since Bitcoin captured the minds of a broader audience, people started labeling it. “Digital gold” – is one of the most widely used nicknames the coin has ever been given. But is it really fair to compare the innovative currency to one of the oldest assets favored by conservative investors? We analyzed the qualities of digital gold and real gold to see whether they are comparable.
Chainlink 2.0 and Hybrid Smart Contracts
One of the most prominent decentralized oracle solutions, Chainlink, is stepping up the game as it just published the new version of its whitepaper. In pursuit of making off-chain computation more scalable, secure, and private, Chainlink plans on creating a decentralized metalayer and renewed architecture.
Mercuryo Participates in Blockchain Life Conference

The Miner Extractable Value – a tendency of miners to profit off of users by arbitrarily reordering, including, or excluding transactions within a block – has been called a theft. However, there’s another side to the coin.
In his article, software engineer Philip Daian covered the relationship between distributed fairness protocols and MEV, arguing that MEV cannot be treated as “good” or “bad”. Also, he offers a specific roadmap of how to deal with the issue to everyone who cares enough about the ecosystem.
zkPorter: a Breakthrough in L2 Scaling
Migration to Layer 2 is about to begin, and people hope for a better fee system. Unfortunately, that might not be an option.
The thing is that rollups (Layer 2 off-chain aggregation of transactions) are not enough. They can only offer a linear increase in throughput while all data still must be propagated to full nodes. And what we need for greater scalability is an exponential gain in throughput.
Matter Lab’s team, passionate about Ethereum scaling, has designed a system with 20,000+ TPS to offer greater security than optimistic rollups.
This is a weekly newsletter curated by our Blockchain Lead Vyacheslav Akhmetov. We cover the most sparkling events in the industry and sharing more about our journey.
