The culture he is talking about? One of wealth, entitlement and ego. A stark difference from what Cronje believes the ethos of crypto is – self-empowerment, self-custody, and self-sovereign rights.

Tron Founder Announces Stablecoin on Network

Justin Sun announced the launch of Tron’s decentralised stablecoin USDD, available on 5 May. Tron’s native token TRX will assist with USDD staying pegged to the dollar.

USDD will not operate in the same way other stablecoins do. Instead, it will be an algorithmic stablecoin, similar to UST and FRAX. A DAO (Decentralised Autonomous Organisation) will manage the blockchain’s stablecoin and provide custody reserves of up to $10 billion in assets.
